I know there's a total wine there, but have not found much in Bellevue otherwise. Just up the road a bit is the Black Raven Redmond outpost, which I've always enjoyed. You might give that a try.

I'm sure there's got to be other spots in Bellevue that I'm just not aware of.

    Good luck!

We just returned from our trip and thanks to everyone for their advice and information. We enjoyed Stoup, Fremont, and both locations of Reubens Brews. We also visited Teku Tavern and Uptown Hop. It was refreshing to see tap lists not dominated by Hazy Ipas. In addition, the conference was successful. Thanks again and if need information about Maryland or New Jersey breweries let me know.

Oh, no, please don't. My guy @jonphisher got me covered. But, swing up to Bellingham, and I'll run you around town a bit......

I hope you had a Stoup NW Red while you were there, greatest beer on earth; anyone who disagrees has no idea what they're talking about :stuck_out_tongue:

Is Pliny available on draft or in bottles in Seattle? Heading out that way in July so I’d appreciate any insight

    Both.

Distributors receive one shipment a month typically, and the beer is pretty popular. So depending on when you arrive, it may not be all that easy to find.

There are some good bottle shop recommendations in some of the recent, previous Seattle visitation threads when it gets closer to your arrival date.

    Good luck!

We visit some close friends in Seattle every 2-ish years or so. I realize this is a narrow question, but anything new in the last few years I need to hit? Or should I just stick with the favs (Stoup, Cloudburst, HM, Fremont, etc).

Coinciding this visit with some of the World Cup, so we also will need to find somewhere to watch a few matches if anyone happens to have any suggestions in the South Seattle-ish area.

It's going to be difficult to avoid the kickball tourney, most anywhere you bip into should be showing games. I know that there are a few soccer-focused bars in Seattle, but not sure about down on the South End.

Not exactly sure what area of Seattle you'll be staying, but over in West Seattle there's the Beveridge Place Pub. I haven't been there in years, but they have a great beer selection and I believe they have a pool room area with a bunch of TVs. If you're near the downtown area, I'd recommend Collins Pub. It's a bit South of downtown, so maybe that would work for you.

Thanks. Staying with friends that live in S. Seattle/Beacon Hill-ish area so we know there will have to be some getting around for some of the favorite spots.

Collins Pub might work for you, though parking around that part of town can be tough (if you're planning to drive).

That being said, I suspect someone from the local area can probably provide you with better options. Seattle is pretty much teeming with good beer bars that I'm sure will be showing the matches.

    Good luck!

I'm sure Machine House will be showing those games. They probably aren't far from your location I'd guess. If you like cask ale, this could be a lot of fun as they specialize in English styles and show lots of soccer.
