    A new-to-me Lawson's and as per their record, its good. NEPIA front, WCIPA-like finish. First time I've seen this in CT, but the BA DB entry is from 9/25.
    My full review will be in NBW (I consider Friday PM the weekend).

    1) Other Half Deer Gauntlet (8.4% canned 2/26/26): A NEIPA from NY with Galaxy, Riwaka, Bru-1 for flavors of pineapple, guava, peach, grapefruit.
    versus
    2) Mortalis Zeus (8.0% canned 2/10/26): A NEIPA from NY with flavors of orange, grapefruit, passionfruit. (Mismatched the two blind)

    Other Half versus Mortalis IPA Battle. First is Other Half Deer Gauntlet. Peach, pineapple, juicy and sweet. Great flavors, but shows the alcohol a bit.
    Next is Mortalis Zeus. Great passionfruit, grapefruit, orange. Similar flavors, but hides the alcohol better.
    Winner: Mortalis Zeus

    Low & Slow with Hop Stoopid. Pecan, hickory, the candy that exists in the smoker...damn! I made an oval with wood & coals around the bottom of the smoker with the cow in the middle. So like the heat and smoke are like a long fuse that ends where it starts.:beers:
