Covert Artisan Ice Scream BBA Imperial Stout, 12% ABV. Pours deep brown with a 1.5 finger medium-brown head that left no lacing. Aroma is vanilla and hot honey. Taste is vanilla, melding into honey, then the Ghost and Habenero kick in. Sweet and increasingly hot. There is no sign of the bourbon and rye. Decent mouthfeel, overall very good.

TBH, I wouldn't have gotten this if I had realized it had hot peppers and honey, neither of which I like in beer.

Mowed down a couple of Big Mac tacos...delicious

 

Poured into a 20 oz glass canned on 4/23/26. Pours a very attractive hazy milky yellow with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace, with excellent retention. 4.75

Aroma is peach, mango, passionfruit, a hint of blackberry, and apricot very pleasant. 4.5

Taste follows peach, mango, passionfruit, a little blackberry, and apricot digging for sure. 4.5

Mouthfeel is above medium, soft gentle carbonation, not sticky or dry, and at 7.2% bigger flavor, with insane drinkability. 4.5

Overall another winner from this tiny brewery. 4.5
