BAdvocate no longer refreshes in the background and constantly jams when I try to open it. Reloading the page doesn’t work. I now have to exit the browser and start over in order to access BAdvocate.

Yesterday I was getting error messages and system glitches. Today I’m just getting the blank screen.

While pictures do load slightly faster, accessing the homepage is definitely slower than ever. At least for me it is. No big deal though, I’ll live with it.
    :beers:

@LeinenkugelDrinker - I've been monitoring and things look very healthy on our end, but with the recent speed optimizations, some browsers might be hanging onto "stale" session data. So, please try...
    • logging out of the site
    • clearing cache/data for the site in your browser
    • restart your browser
    • then log back in
    • try accessing the site on another network and another browser; if possible
    • if you're on a VPN or a specific mobile carrier, try toggling to WiFi (or vice versa)
    • try an incognito/private window; if it works, it’s most likely a local cache/extension issue
Feel free to DM on the side if this persists with your OS and browser versions.

    Thanks!

@Todd I am also getting errors since the change. Chrome on iOS. Gives me this error, then I reload, and it works after.

The same error + load after a refresh or two happened for me on iOS Firefox (all browsers on iOS use the Safari rendering engine behind the scenes) - I cleared my cache and that issue went away.

Replicated on a different device. Also chrome on iOS. First screenshot was from my iPad. Second screenshot from iPhone.

Unfortunately, no. I cleared my cache, tried different browsers, logged out of the site, ensured my VPN was turned off, etc.

I’ll try accessing the site on cellular data when I’m out and have a strong signal. I forgot to try that yesterday.

As I said before though it’s no big deal really. Just a slight annoyance when I first attempt to open BAdvocate.

I did briefly notice another issue yesterday, the site became unable to load user avatars. Occurred twice I believe. When I reloaded the pages the avatars appeared.

    Thanks Todd.

    Cheers :beers:

@Todd - I should have made it clearer that clearing my cache on iOS browsers was something I did a couple days ago and that was all I needed to do to make my load issues go away.

Fixed it. For those experiencing a similar issue on Chrome iOS, and might appreciate a detailed guide:

    1) click the “…” in the lower right hand corner of your browser screen

    2) click “settings”

    3) click “privacy and security”

    4) click “delete browsing data”

There will be a pop up window asking you to confirm the time range and browsing data….you can select beeradvocate only, so you don’t have to log back into other sites

    5) click “confirm”

    6) log back into beeradvocate

    7) drink a beer and celebrate

Seems to be working alright with Brave. Safari and DuckDuckGo are still messed up though.

I’ve experienced some issues since the “fast AF” thread but they are difficult to replicate, which tells me they are pretty minor. On iPhone, iOS 26.4.2, I sometimes get “Safari can't open the page because it couldn't connect to the server.” If I click the refresh button it almost always loads right up. And this is usually sitting outside, connecting to WiFi via a range extender (connecting to 5G cellular is consistently faster and more reliable from this spot, but my phone likes to hold on to WiFi as long as possible). So could easily be more of a hardware issue. But it does seem to happen more frequently now.

Same things been happening to me in IOS Safari since the updates. This website is the only one I’ve ever experienced it with. Tried logging out, clearing cache, logging back in. Hasn’t fixed it.

Yes - on my phone, issues persist despite logging out and clearing BA data a few times. It is consistent and easily resolves, but is also annoying in that the user has to, yet can't seem to, fix the issue, even with guidance.

To be honest, I am perplexed the suggestions don't fix things. Almost seems something between the user and BA may be in play, but I have no idea what that something could be other than apps not working like they should.

Same issue for me. BA website will not load when I am using my iPhone with WiFi. All other websites work fine. Clearing cache, logging out and resetting the router do not solve the issue. The only way that I can access BA is to switch to 5G cellular.

Just had login issues with Chrome.

    Deleting cookies cleared it up.

I opened up an Inprivate window in explorer and was able to log in. I have to believe once I clear the cache in my browser everything will work. Need to do it anyway

Yeah, just fyi for me...just to add one more. I was logged out earlier this morning, couldn't log back in.

I'm using an older chromebook...cleared browsing data and deleted cookies. Still couldn't log in. Restarted and re logged into my chromebook, and that worked. So after deleting cookies you might still need to restart your devices.

    Thanks and cheers.
