1) Other Half National Broccoli Day (8.5% canned 3/16/26): A NEIPA from NY with Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic, Riwaka, HBC1019 for flavors of tangerine, tropical peach, melon.
versus
2) Other Half Double Crushed Gems (8.0% canned 3/2026): A NEIPA from NY with Citra, Simcoe, Peacharine for flavors of orange, stonefruit, tropical punch and pineapple. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Other Half IPA Battle. First is National Broccoli Day. Earthy, stonefruit flavors here. The Simcoe is on display here. Great, just not my particularly favorite hop flavor.
Next is Double Crushed Gems. First try at this. Citra, Simcoe, Peacharine. The peacharine shows strong fruit punch, peach, and pineapple flavors. Smooth, sweet, but hides the alcohol and drinks creamy and smooth. Excellent.
Winner: Other Half Double Crushed Gems

I used to play softball in a company league and the fields were in Cambridge, Ma. Across the street was a bar called The Horse and Hound and we would drink there after the games. They had a life sized fiberglass horse in there and if you sat on it you got banned. Useless info of the day.

 

Orange is the New Yellow from Tree House. A double IPA with Citra and Amarillo.

 

Hopothecary Ales Abracadabra .. @celtsfan33 - this is pretty good, you might like it.
