I saw The Stones live not long after that and they played a lot of that. I saw them again a few years ago, and could not quite comprehend how they still got it! Great Bangers!

An awesome beer. And in a proper 473ml can.:+1: What would you call the style? I think that it leans a bit towards Wheat Wine, but I am not very familiar with that style.

Ha! Yeah man. Shattered was the 1st song from them that really made me notice them. I think about 1981ish. It takes me back like a time machine might do...And I dunno what kids say for shit anymore. I think they don't actually say anything, they just text or shoe gaze an imoji :nerd::joy:

    1) Toppling Goliath Pseudo Alien (7.6% canned 3/31/26): A NEIPA from Iowa with flavors of orange, tropical lime, melon, and blueberries.
    versus
    2) BlackStack Estate Sale (8.2% canned 3/11/26): A NEIPA from Minnesota with Comet, Centennial and Deep Cut Cascade for flavors of orange, pineapple, peach, pineapple, berries, mango skins. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Toppling Goliath versus BlackStack IPA Battle. Arguably the two best to do IPAs in Iowa and Minnesota. First is Toppling Goliath and Tired Hands Pseudo Alien. A combination of Pseudo Sue and Alien Church. Tropical notes from Alien Church while a crisp citrus and floral notes from The Sue. An outstanding collab between the two breweries.
Next is BlackStack Estate Sale. Some great citrusy and tropical hops here with a sweet mango and malt finish. It's big, sweet, and tropical. Doesn't hide the alcohol quite as well. Has a sweet Cap'n Crunch malt flavor, that not gonna lie I don't hate. BlackStack finally putting canning dates on their IPAs. I've lamented for years. Almost gave it a win just for that.
    Winner: Toppling Goliath Pseudo Alien

This is the only one I have had from the Decadence series. The mouthfeel is outstanding. I am getting more coffee and cocoa than brownie though. My favourite beers from Rorschach are the handful of German styles that they do. I hope the Maibock cones back.:+1:

It appears I have gnawed completely through that last beer like a thirsty beaver...So, another can is in order to scrawl out the remainder of a review. This is a really fine brew with a super soft mouthfeel.

Tree House - Chain Reaction hazy triple IPA this evening. Last can of this and it's been pretty good for me. One of the most refreshing 9% abv imperial hazy IPAs I've had. Not much malt sweetness and the hops are also real citrusy and crisp with light tropical and dank notes. Real nice one from Tree House imo. Cheers all!

At the very least I have to be sober enough to find the bus back to my hotel.

Or, barring that, sober enough to walk back to my hotel
