a friend and I bought this cool first model year 1989 Cannondale alum tandem at a local thrift store.....hoping to flip it to make some beer $$, haha!

this thing retailed for $1500 bucks in 1989!

Made some blackened chicken and homemade fries for dinner. I was a bit disappointed in the way the chicken came out because a lot of the blackening spices stuck to the grille. It still tasted good but didn't come out as I hoped. Better luck next time LOL. I think I need to replace the grates in my Weber - $163 for the two grates from Weber - that's pretty ridiculous IMHO. I have one of the smaller grills too - a Spirit II. That's basically $81 per grate, outrageous. They should last forever at that price. Rant over .. .

 

I'll just whip out the last of these from the variety pk. I like it a lot. Cheers!

Therapy is a great band. I saw them on that Infernal Love tour 30(!) years ago, which might be the last time they played over here.

 

A local store was clearing these out… 3 years past the bottling date. A little past its prime, but just fine for $3.99. Cheers!
