Chicory Stout, Indian Brown, Shelter Pale ale, Aprihop, super excited to see these coming back! Only thing is the distributor here seems just to stock the basic variety pks….no seasonals far as I’ve noticed.

I adored Burton Baton and Palo Santo Marron.

Almost like a trip back in time looking at DFH’s 2026 calendar, kudos. Would love to see more breweries bring back the classics.

Pretty much every week when I have my rep that has DFH here locally, I ask if they have gotten any of the good stuff. It has been a no so far, but I will keep asking. We only seem to get 30 and 60 Minute here, with their cocktail packs. I will keep working it to see if we can get the bigger stuff. The Xocolatl WWS sounds amazing, and will be a for sure buy if I can get it here. 120 will always be a buy if I can get it.

Hopefully your distributor orders them, the spring variety pack was awesome. The amber is glorious, 60 minute was fresh and an eye opening revisit, the czech with coffee was nice; balanced, kolsch I'm still saving to try for a warmer NBW, an actual variety pack :beers:

When you make reference to "rep" here, is that an actual representative from the brewery (e.g., Boston Beer Company employee) or is this a Wholesale Distributor person?

If it is the latter, is it up to the Wholesale Distributor to order the more 'exclusive' Dogfish Head brands? Or does the brewery not always make all of their brands available for distribution to Minnesota?

    Cheers!

Glad DFH is standing out from the crowd by simply bringing back their portfolio of classics that are all mostly unique beers. I’m pretty excited. I actually just bought the Sam Adams spring pack that had Alpine Spring in it. Kinda bland compared to my memory but still ok.

Summer variety pack is a step down from the spring one imo. I just picked it up anyway.

IPA, Czech Dark Lager with coffee, Kolsch style, Red Ale

    vs

Light IPA, Hazy Pale Ale, Berliner Weisse, Citrus Lager

I could do without the Gratefull Dead beers which is why I prefer the spring pack. Light IPA Im fine with but its not as good as 60 minute in the spring pack. Festina Peche I dont care for.

Yea it is definitely the weakest of the four it looks like, I don't know which I'm more excited for the fall or winter one.

Curious about the citrus lager, I do enjoy lemongrass in beers when I've had it, let us know what you think.

Finally it has happened! And now we can see it with our own eyes, one of “regional” releases of the year.

Finally showed up in my area. I think the last time I had this beer was… 15 years ago? (!) I remember liking it, but there have been a lot of changes in the craft beer world, and my palate since then.

First impression is that it is very malty by today’s IPA standards— that crystal malt caramel richness that has all but disappeared. I don’t mind it— a real throwback, though. The apricot comes in on the finish. I imagine this must be true to the original recipe. I’m enjoying it.

I waited and waited for this one to return and to my memory, or palate, it tastes as it was; great malty depth, slightly sticky, good bitterness and clean drinking and yep that apricot comes ands goes but balances out the finish so nicely. Thanks for sharing your thoughts too, a beer I always wished would return and be accessible. Thank you Dogfish!
