@LarryV made me do it! He sometimes can be a bad influence. Had two cans left. Was saving them to split with son-law-law before we head out for a long weekend at the beach (OBX, NC) to celebrate daughter’s request for Mother’s Day.

Going to stay in Duck on the northern end. We (daughter and family) plan on taking the Corolla Wild horse tour. My wife and I took the tour ten years ago. Got some awesome pics and vids. Amazing experience.

I plan to eat my weight in seafood. Specifically, oysters! And drink any local beer I can get my hands on.

I have been a fan of the Veil brewery since they opened. Master Shredder was one of the brewed more than just occasionally.

 

Enjoying a Tree House Little Juicy American Pale Ale. It's a nice easy drinker at 5.5%

 

We stayed in Corolla and also took the wild horse tour! It was awesome! Spent a lot of time in Duck as well. Growlers on the Go is a good little craft beer bar/shop in Duck. Enjoy your trip! I am already longing to go back!

if you go back, check out the Lost Colony outside theater production. I think it is only put on in the summer since most of the actors are college kids. Nonetheless, it is an experience especially for young kids. Also in that area is the NC aquarium. Worth a visit. And then there is Manteo. There is a brewery there but to be honest, I wasn’t impressed.

 

Aldi Thin crust mega meat with extra pepps. Kitten feeding time. They weren't too hungry as they had a mama nursing session 20 minutes prior


State of Brewing Maguires Draught Stout from Aldi. Irish feeling yeast as I have seen in Dry Stouts before, on the upper limit of fruitiness and diacetyl for the style, but a very good easy drinking beer. Trying to be a Guinness.

I still need to see Devin in concert. I had some tickets for a show in Pontiac MI, and that was in April 2020 and the show got cancelled cuz of covid.

So many cool things in the Outer Banks. We did the NC Aquarium on our first trip there. We don’t often repeat vacation trips as they are many cool places to see, but the OBX is my daughters and my favorite and we have had two trips so far and will likely be back in the future
