    At the risk of repeating myself again tonight, this beer needs help. Good thing is it is the last of the six pack. Strange phenomena though, I do not find this last one all that bad. Yep, just proves I am crazy.

    Closer for this beer noob. Cellar pull and many thanks to @CarolinaCardinals for this BA Barley from Burial! It's a "school night", I know but was really in the mood for this style and holy wow!! (@Beersnake would be lovin' on this one! :wink::grin:)

    Also learned today that a house three streets over in our development was broken into over the weekend and all their jewelry was stolen. Beefing up the security in the Beer Garden (and the appropriate cellar pull based on the beer label):

    Mean people suck. :unamused::beers:!

    It is a great place.

    First time I went to OBX was 1973. There was only one bridge for both in bound and outbound traffic. When you got there you could only go south (right turn) towards Kitty Hawk (did you check that out) and Nags Head. There was no Duck, or Corolla. Just dirt roads and a few small houses.

    A lot has changed. Wife and I spent our honeymoon in OBX 1974. Anyway, been there probably a hundred times. Family spent many a summer vacation there. OBX is one of our favorite places. I am going with my oldest daughter and her family there this Friday for a long Mother’s Day’s weekend. I will post some pics.

    We used to go there as kids and rented two bungalows with another family. Right on the beach in Nags Head. The name of the place was the Clay-Don and we have alot of stories from those time. Including my mom and dad got caught in a riptide with another couple and drifted out to sea where we as kids were standing on the beach and they were almost out of sight. The Coast Guard was called but the other couple had a small raft/lounge. All four got on one side and kicked their way in. The CG copter arrived minutes later looking for them but they were already in. True story. Loved riding the cardboard down the world's largest sand dune as well:stuck_out_tongue:

    I am sure all will go well. Docs have this thing down to a precise science. That said, quadruple bypass is serious and not child’s play. The dude will have to be sure to listen and do whatever his docs say so that everything lasts many decades to come.

    Yessir correct. 'Coming from the shelter of her mother's little helper' I believe was the line.

    The riptides in OBX are horrible. Too many folks drown as a result. As a stupid 20 something I thought I was too tough but found out that wasn’t true when I got caught in the edge of one.

    Jockeys Ridge. Not sure I could climb it anymore but did for a few decades with the kids.

    Did you visit the Wright Brothers museum?
