Good day BAs! Thanks @jkblr for opening the bar! I've closed down many a night after watching "Rick and Morty" with a couple of shots of rye, But I've never seen the rye torpedo!

Today's "found in the back of reefer #1" breakfast beer - it's only been there for about a year:



Still very coniferous and lemony - a great wild ale!

Early round of golf today. I had an up-and-down round. Sometimes I played like a pro (three birdies and five pars), and other times I played like I had never held a club in my hands (four double bogies). I'm hitting the ball well, but my short game is abysmal. Definitely something to work on.
7K IPA waiting for me in the clubhouse.

Walked one block over to the brewery…drinking “The Ghost of Dank Williams” IPA:



Dank earthy nose. Mild bitter grapefruit peel. Clean easy drinking WCIPA. sadly no cans to go…

Drinking my last can of The Resolution from Tree House. Really enjoyed this triple IPA over the past month. Ripe notes of peach nectar, mango, nectarine, pink papaya, sweet guava, grapefruit, orange citrus, and some floral dank pine. Super juicy and fruit forward with a slight candied caramelized pale malt. Great use of the proprietary liquid hop extracts. Cheers all!

 

Good morning BAdvocates. Drinking a Lagunitas IPA on this gorgeous Thursday. Supposed to see 80 today. I’ll take it!

Donzoko Koji Rice Lager on the lovely patio of our Edinburgh AirBnB. Technically this beer is Newcastrian, but the owner at The Beerhive (an excellent bottle shop here) says the brewer used to brew here in Edinburgh but set up his brewery in Newcastle because of the cheap rent

I’ve only been in Edinburgh like 3.5 hours at this point and it’s already excellent.

 

Makars Mash Bar has the best haggis. Not too far from the castle.
