    1) Utepils Helles (5.1%): A German Helles Lager from Minnesota with flavors of pale malts, bread, honey.
    versus
    2) Hofbrau Original (5.1%): A German Helles Lager with flavors of pale Munich malts, earthy noble hops, honey. (Correctly matched the two blind)

    Utepils versus Hofbrau Helles lager. First is Utepils. One of the best helles from Minnesota. Smooth, some honey-like flavors, not overly sweet.
    Next is Hofbrau OG. More authentic Munich malts and earthy notes. Excellent. Hard to beat the authenticity of German flavors.
    Winner: Hofbrau Original

    A one and done for me after work. I've been itching to get into this Guidon Brewery Schwarzbier 4.9%. There seems to be a lot of underappreciated German beer styles these days and Schwarzbier is one.This one is very well crafted. Roasted malt but no harsh burnt flavors. Soft, silky mouthfeel. Moderate bitterness. Very dry finish. Another great choice from @CarolinaCardinals the unofficial beer sommelier of NC brews! Cheers!

    Tree House Daze, a lower ABV (6.9%) version of thier Haze (8.2%). I don't even notice, its still just as good IMO. I would have to do a side by side to decearn any difference. Canned on 5/6/26.
