    Happy Monday BAs - and a warm and toasty one it will be here on the "north coast" - upper 80's and windy is the forecast - I think I will do some paddling in one of my sea kayaks this afternoon....gotta love this retired lakeside life!

    And of course, there is beer!

    7 years ago today my daughter and I landed in San Francisco for a lovely 4 day visit to the Bay area - her first time in CA, and like my 15th visit! Took her to Anchor Brewing, Greens Restaurant, a bunch of wineries in Napa / Sonoma, and Russian River in Santa Rosa - great trip!!

    Sounds like an amazing time, Jerry (Great pic as well!) Haven't been down that way in many years (I think 2010 was the last time :grimacing:) - Hoping to make it back there one of these days! Cheers :beers:

    The Bay Area is pretty outstanding, first was in 2012 for me, and it seems our journeys matched a bit. As I wandered around the city, then went up north towards Sonoma County where some friends have a house and we got a taste of the Californian hospitality.

    Sadly don’t have many photos left from that trip, and would as you did only share them along a NOW beer pic anyway. Cheers Jerry.

    Howdy all and happy Monday! Vacation’s over but I’m still in Budapest on business for the next 3 weeks. After work I swung by my beer store and got all I could carry. Starting off light with Holba Keprník 12, a pale lager from a Czech brewery unfamiliar to me. Not too bad.

    Very Hazy to start the day here. Definitely picking up some blackberry notes in this with some dank pine and citrusy tropical fruit. Pretty magnificent beer imo. Cheers all!

    A nice hoppy Pilsner from Godspeed, for a mid afternoon break from garden turning.

    We have gone from too cold and wet to dig to "watch out for heatstroke" in a couple of days.

    Kern River. Google says mid-2000's, but I don't think I noticed it until maybe 2013 or so. I think the brother Raul (@RaulMondesi) was drinking bombers. Cheers.

    Woohoo! Digging into some Brew Your Mind, my favorite Hungarian brewery. This is Silent Shadow black IPA … not bad, better than most in the style.
