I try to go without AC for as long as possible, and should make it at least into June, with tomorrow my greatest test. Cross post with New Beer Weekend #305 with said thread treatment linked here, and full review linked below. WBAYDN treatment, this is one of Revolution's best IPA efforts. Had the DDH version, but this is my first at their standard Citra Hopped selection, and hits everything I want including strong Citrus and Pine and gentle caramel malt treament.

Hello all this Memorial Day. It’s already topped 85° in Budapest and will probably get hotter. Having an ÖriBird Süvöltő hazy. It’s … ok. Not really my jam.

I decided to let the beers look out on the courtyard, since it’s such a nice day. (also because the backlighting is crazy today )

Good day BAs! Thanks @Victory_Sabre1973 for opening the bar! Allegedly 62F and going to get up to 72, assuming the fog burns off.

Today's Breakfast Beer - Narwhal having been tripping through bourbon, rum, and port barrels.



Mostly tasting the port barrels now - but I'll stand by my original rating of 4 on 19/06/25. I think the base Narwhal is better - xin loi!

Hubertus Medium, a 4.4% Czech pilsner. Almost has some amber lager qualities. It’s really nice!

I'm sipping on this "pickle" beer that's biggest asset, if you want to call it that, the smell. Small promises were made but were not delivered in the taste.

Not to worry as I am watching a series on Netflix that is excellent. The Boroughs.

It's the same here today and tomorrow apparently! Trying to hide from the sun currently...

It's also a bank holiday here today and I'm still off work tomorrow so a few beers will be enjoyed in the shade this afternoon.

 

I'm back with this dry hopped Pilsner using Spalt hops. I reckon that I am not a big fan. No dating on the can but it says enjoy fresh.
