On this day in 1983, I attended Day 3 of the US Festival in So. California. Not so big of a crowd as the previous day’s 500,000, but a stellar and most memorable time was had.
Little Steven & The Disciples of Soul, Quarterflash, Missing Persons, Berlin (who were sensational), U2, The Pretenders, Stevie Nicks and headliner David Bowie.,.

Good morning BAs and happy sunny Thursday - beautiful day, and the forecast is calling for me of the same for the next week or so...yay!

Picked up a single of this awesome beer recently - it is a great, and local one! Need to pick up a 4 pk at the least!

We got 3 inches of rain between 1900 and 2200 last night, much needed.

 

Paulaner Munchner Hell. Wonderfully stuff! Keeping cool on what is shaping up to be a hot day.

 

Magnanimous Slice Lord DDH IPA with a couple dogs for lunch (I know, i should be eating pizza with this ipa).

The lady of the house returns today from So Dak with beers. Very cool and I did actually get her to take two large coolers just for that. No clue as to what she picked up.

Good job on the rain. It's shaping up to be a hot and stormy summer for some.

 

Long Trail Limbo IPA, 7.6% - a delicious Imperial IPA with candied orange, tropical fruit, and pine. Round and smooth and so well made. Cheers!

 

Firestone Walker - pFreal

 

We really needed it and there's no chance for flash floods around here....cheers!

 

Starting the day here with Emperor Julius from Tree House. Thick and full-bodied with rich orange juice flavors, bright orange starburst candy, zesty white grapefruit, lime, cantaloupe, honeydew melons, subtle juicy fruit bubblegum, fuzzy peach, overripe mango, sweet pineapple, papaya, slight caramelized light toasty bready malts, and floral earthy dank herbal pine. Really clean and super concentrated with juicy hop flavors, real fruity and about as close to Citra hop perfection as you can get I think. Really great DIPA. Cheers everyone!
