    Good morning from Finland!

    I'm dedicating today's WBAYDN to @HopBelT, who moved on this week. Filip joined the site on March 18, 2014 and was our moderator from Belgium for many years. I didn't know him as well as I would've liked to, but I do know that he was very passionate about beer, spent his final days enjoying good beers with good friends, and went out on his own terms. Cheers to that! :beers:

    Happy weekend to all the BA beer tasters, and good morning to you, @Todd! Thank you for the fine tribute to Filip and putting us in mind of the wonderful people and beers in Belgium.

    A toast with the Trippel from New Belgium Brewing. In my Colorado years this was one of my top few favorites. A dependable strong brew with a tangy taste. I never thought of this as yeasty, and it's a more refined style. Got this in a new 12-pack of NB Belgium beers. Dated 15 MAR 2026.

    New Trail Trail Marker - West Coast IPA

    Grabbed this on our way back home from South Carolina. Recommended by a Wegman's employee in Erie, PA, this beer is brimming with pine resin, orange blossom, and cut grass aromas. Flavours follow with a firm bitterness and some biscuit/honey to balance. A doozy Westy from the Keystone State. Happy Saturday, BAs! :beers:
