Just a regular old Sierra Nevada Pale Ale...which is also fantastic

And Miles Davis/Gil Evans Vol 2...that is Porgy & Bess. Arguably the best version of this "American Opera" and I love it.

If you know my avatar, and know your Miles Davis/Gil Evans albums...you also know what I'm going to be spinning next :sunglasses:

A Midnight Snack (around midday), split with my partner, while I prepare some homemade raw egg Caesar dressing to go with dinner later tonight.

Happy Sunday BAs! Gorgeous weather today. Squirrels have been digging up seedlings in my garden; they already massacred a butternut squash. I'm currently sipping on an Innis & Gunn Highland Cask Ale while I assess the damage. Cheers!

Post mowing hydration. Will need to wash the car and fire the grill up at some point, but for the meantime, going to get lost in this beer.

    1) Paulaner Premium Pils (4.8%): A German Pilsner with flavors of crisp Noble hops, floral and crisp yeast and pale malts.
    versus
    2) Tucher Brau Pilsner (5.0%): A German Pils with flavors of German pale malts, bread, yeast. Smooth. (Mismatched the two blind)

German Pils Battle. Paulaner versus Tucher Brau. First Paulaner. Pale, yeasty, smooth. Not as bitter as I remember.
Next is Tucher Brau, my only second try at this. Pours identical, milder aromas. More crisp floral hops and crisp pale malts. Cleaner and drier.. Very impressed with this an now I know to pick up more of these during my next beer haul because I don't have access locally.
    Winner: Tucher Brau Pilsner

I have many squirrels in my yard. They will not dig in my flower beds or big pots. They will touch my garden plants. There my friends and there told not to dig up stuff. Why? when winter comes they need me and get the very best food like roasted unsalted almonds. They also like quality time. Now the rabbits are not perfect but they do a good job of staying out of trouble too. Rabbits love quality time but there hard to feed properly in the winter. Getting a good diet for them is not easy. One thing about rabbits is never promise them anything unless you can deliver, they can be vindictive. Squirrels are more loyal.

Walked 2 blocks to brewery no. 44 - Thirsty Street Brewing Co. Sampled the hazy, drinking the American style IPA - “Staycation IPA”:

Another watery, boring IPA. A good lawnmower IPA on a hot day. There’s a break in the rain so we are going to the next place. Cheers from Billings MT, y’all!
