Adding a beer with a Had?

    Can we add a beer by entering a Had? I tried a beer the other night that isn't in the database, but I didn't have enough to do a full review. Is there a way to add that beer?

    I believe the only way to add a beer is with a full review.

    Why not do a review of a newly added beer? People could use the insight on what you thought of it.

    I only had about a 3oz taste. My personal minimum for a review is generally 6-8oz. Not sure if any of this beer will make it back around my area, so I just wanted to add it as a Had.

    No way to do it at the moment.

    Personally, I hope it is never possible. I see the nightmare which is Untappd, with multiple multiple versions of many beers in their database. As a Site Editor here who has to help clean up the mess, I do not want to enable more duplicate additions. Just my opinion.

    That's completely understandable and reasonable. What if I sent a BM with the pertinent info to a moderator, and had them add the beer?
