Late Night BeerAdvocate - Friday

A bottle of Maine Beer Co. Lunch IPA that was just bottled yesterday.

 

I had a couple of brews from the UK:

Oxfordshire Ales Marsh-Mellow and Pride of Oxford. Both were satisfying.

Now, heck, I'm finishing a Shock Top Lemon Shandy, which I had to add to the database on BA.

All 3 were freebies from my retailer friend in Casper.

 

Starting off with a Nugget Nectar, before heading out. Yummy stuff.

 

Berkshire Coffeehouse Porter with "best by" date of 02/07/12. Oops...one of the disadvantages of having too much beer in the ol' cellar.

 

Started off with some Uinta Wyld Extra Pale Ale....a very nice sessionable beer that is perfect for this beautifully warm sunny day.



Followed that up with a Crazy Mountain Amber Ale....alright, nothing to get excited about.



Now onto a Victory Headwaters Pale Ale....got to admit, this one has seriously grown on me. First bottle had me questioning my decision to buy a sixer of it, now thinking about about buying another one once I finish this one.

I started a German tour while watching the Heels then Wolfpack tonight. I had Aecht Schlenkerla RauchMarzen, Spaten Dunkel, and now Paulaner Salvator. Ive got a GLBC Eliot Ness or Atwater Black if need be for the late game.

Can of Daisy Cutter as I watch some fairly uneventful and lopsided basketball.

 

I need to get one of those bottles. We call our homebrew PH2 Brewing - first initial of the last names for my father in law and my dad and I. We have tap handles, T-shirts and glassware. lol

 

Go big, or go home! I've got nothing but time, will stay up drinking and fire up the smoker to go all day while I head to the golf club in the morning to win enough to get some Sweetwater 420 IPA on draft for free at the clubhouse!

 

Beautiful day in Philly today. Finished off a growler of Masala Mama and a Cantillon St Lam.

 

NICE! I'm smoking too. I have a Wagyu brisket and Berkshire pork butt going right now. Be done around 10 in the morning.

Are you....drinking Cantillon in plastic cups??? LOL Say it ain't so...

 

Yeah...I was lucky enough to trade for 3 of these. I shared the first few to the tune of only enjoying about a 4 oz pour out of them. This fucker's all mine tho. This and Knuckle Sandwich were too really pleasant treats.
