Anybody else playing a beer version of where's waldo with these pictures trying to spot a beer from your hometown brewery?

    OHB sightings so far...
csustar001 (the event horizon 2010, center of lower shelf, bottom left photo)
FalconA (the event horizon 2010, center, bottom photo)
SpdKilz (the event horizon 2010, top shelf, just left of center, first photo)
monitorpop (Olde Rabbits foot, top shelf, far right)
jsilva (Imperial Stout, bottom shelf, third photo only, Lindley Park and the event horizon 2010, third and fifth photos middle shelf)

-I know something as simple as mail shouldn't excite me, but it's so cool seeing these beers resting in different cellars all over the country.

This thread makes me sad knowing that a lot of beer is just sitting on shelves not getting drunk. It's kinda like hoarding, except we call it cellaring. I'm mostly kidding, but somewhat serious.

Seriously though, if any of you are in/near Denver, let me know when you want some help drinking down your cellar.

I have that same cabinet in the green color. It houses my GLASSWHALES collection. My second cabinet will be the yellow so I can have a Packer theme going on in my dining room. The wife will love it.

Damn, that's a nice cellar! I sometimes think about trading for growlers, but wonder about shelf life?

Oh, all those growlers are empty. I have a lot of homebrew that I'm going to get bottled up soon and I need the shelf space for those, but in the meantime I took all my growlers out of boxes and just put them on those shelves. Eventually I'll use those as something decorative. I have far more growlers than I can ever use and I can't bring myself to just recycle them, so I'll have to figure something out.

Those shelves really aren't good over time. They bend and bow as it is cheap wood. Believe me, I had the same thing happen.
