When your "interactions" are avoiding him on BA, then yeah thats fine.
But when they include getting a lynch mob ready for every beer event then its a little excessive

Simply, if it didn't work the brewery would come up with a new plan for limited releases to control the situation? I assure you most people getting this beer: 1)paid for it and 2)love craft beer! Sounds like how many bottles are distributed, in what style, and what time of day are the questions to ask?

 

Maybe they should have had a 2-3 bottle limit? (just an idea)

 

Maybe they could sell local tickets in advance at the brewery only, then more locals could get tickets?

 

I was there as well, and it was pretty lame. Not only did the guy(s) screw locals out of a chance at the BA Abraxas, but the thugs they hired to mule were responsible for some unopeneds at the bottle share getting lifted.

Also, when someone later calmly told the guy that he thought it was kinda bs what they were doing, the muler got all uppity and in the guy's face. Not really the attitude or the practices we like to foster here in the STL beer scene.

 

I'm just pissed I didn't get a bottle!!

 

If you weren't actually at the brewery, doesn't some guy going to a release and stockpiling a bunch of bottles to trade actually increase your odds of getting your hands on one?

 

Not if you put them on your do not trade with list.

Trying to find out who it is so I can add to it.

I am wondering if they are going to be "generous" or try to **** people for super wales...

 

Has BA Abraxas been released yet?

Do you think that someone that goes out of his way to get all these bottles of beer are for himself Nd that he is not taking care of other people? Do you think he doesn't have plenty of people all over to get him/her beer for the favor. Go ahead and don't "interact" with him but I'm sure he will still get his. When you put the work into something you'll get rewarded

 

Because the 10 other possible people that got snubbed "wouldn't" have helped other people out.

 

I'm gunna have my next family reunion at the next big release and we're going to buy every bottle, while wearing matching "family reunion 2013" t-shirts. Can't wait!
