My guess would be Buddhas Brew or Boxers variation. I would be very surprised and disappointed if noone asked

Just hazarding a guess, but they DID say something about a new variant of Buddha's this year....

Red Raspberry Buddha's sounds like the most likely scenario...sounds like a tasty scenario as well

    Raspberry Bonnie.
i think the variation on Buddah will come from the different types of Kombucha that Buddhas Brew makes, namely ginger and cranberry I think.

And this is why I say Bonnie. Jeff liked my fruit comment in response to his Bonnie post. Pure speculation of course.

I saw a bunch of barrels that said 'RED' but I just figured that was RU-55. I really need to learn to read more than 1 word on the barrel.

Raspberry is not a flavor of Buddha's Brew FWIW.

Bah! Speculate all you want, this is BA. We are all panning for gold in one way or another. And what you have tossed out is a nice gleaming brick...

Am I the only one who just looks at writing on the barrels and forgets to listen to the brewer? I felt like just walking up and climbing on them during his presentation.

That makes sense...didn't care much for Bonnie but I'd definitely be interested in Bonnie w/raspberries.

Ditto. I've already had a stout with weasel shit, and it was delicious. So I'm excited about anything fruited. I think that's something Texas brewers aren't doing much. Or at least they aren't bottling it (ahem* Peche'cus *ahem*).

Last week we received 2,000 lbs. of fresh raspberries from Washington state. We were impressed by the aroma, so we have high hopes for them. We added them to eight oak barrels of mature Das Uberkind.
