Looks like Bourbon County Barleywine is April. Also, no Bourbon County variants listed except coffee, although that could change when they officially release it.

They seem to have dropped the "Vintage Reserve" tag from the Three Sisters line and moved them in with Matilda, etc.

Anybody know what happened with Gillian (Scarlet)?, it was originally on the 2012 schedule...

afaik laffler wasn't happy with how it came out in bottles. i could be mistaking that for a different beer though.

Marisol was supposed to come in bottles well.

actually, i take back what i said - i heard laffler's dislike was about marisol in bottles, not gillian. got 'em confused.

I dug Marisol the few times I had over the years, thought it was a nice beer. Was looking forward to her in my fridge.

I actually got to talk with him at the mini golf event and this was one of the things I asked him about. They didn't like the appearance of it or something along those lines. I was really hoping for this to be bottled.

"New Fall Seasonal" instead of Harvest, sheise, that's my favorite Goose Island beer!

Agree that was the best seasonal out of the basic line.

Pepe Nero is junk, IMO. Never liked that beer, I feel like the flavors just don't work together. I wish they would have gotten rid of that, and kept Fleur going.

this could be nonsense, but the rumor I heard was that Rick Bayless wasn't happy about the force carbonated bottle and he wanted it "cloudy" so he refused to allow his name used with it. When it then pops up at the brew pub, you will notice Rick's name is no longer associated with it. Again, forgot who I heard that from and it could be telephone game BS.

You mean the man who brought me great airport food may be responsible for denying me this beer?!, I'm so conflicted...

They serve Marisol at Tompolobampo, Frontera, and the O'Hare location.

Is it cloudy? I forgot who I heard it from, it sounded funny to me but its the only thing I can think of because its like on tap at a bunch of places but not bottled. Usually a beer that gets pulled from bottles doesn't show u on tap and gets dumped (wheat whiskey I'm lookin at you).

I enjoyed three clear, well-carbonated Marisols at the O'Hare Frontera at 8am on Christmas morning before heading to the east coast. I hate flying. The beers were great though and I wish it was bottled.

I actually think i have a picture of it somewhere, not cloudy at all. I do recall something about Bayless not liking the first batch and there was a re-do.

So... maybe 2014 is the year BCBS goes year-round?

I heard something along the same lines as well. They bottled a ton of bottles of Marisol a couple years ago. However, they weren't distributed because the beer wasn't cloudy... aka they filtered it (and it wasn't supposed to be). Something along those lines...
