Chicago Beer Lovers: Next Event Date

First rule of Streakers is don't talk about streakers NO Jegross trade-dysfunctionals allowed.

 

i'd be down for this. i had a friend in town and couldn't go to the end of the world event.

 

Count me in for sure. Im sure collectively, we could come up with a place and organize this. any way we can ban the folk that ruined it for fitz, or the dude that bought 16 cherry ryes, or the truck chasers, or the dudes jumping over the counters at zwanze day, or the dude who assaulted my buddies wife at zwanze day, and the like?

 

I think this sounds like a sweet gathering as well and would be more than happy to participate/contribute.

 

Any dates being thrown around yet? I will be passing thru the week before winter Beer Fest, so around the 18th thru the 21st or so. Weeknights, I know. I'll keep my eyes open.

 

If possible, I'd love to be a part of this event!

Kim is receptive to the idea of a Non-Hennessey tasting. I will bring many North Korean treats.

 

I could rebottle the NK beers i had with my own piss and people prob wouldn't know the difference.

 

Is there like a byob restaurant we can sit in the back of and drink as long as we buy like 50 bucks of wings or something?

 

I bet there are some dank spots in Chinatown with BYOB, I'm sure they wouldn't mind a huge influx of happy beer lovers who are as thirsty as they are hungreh!

There seems to be enough interest in this thread for a Chicago gathering, so I will open my buildings party room, having hosted events before there, to the next chicago beer lovers event. (Ill be meeting w some of the original organizers tonight already planned, so ill discuss it there too.) however, one thing I want to AVOID Is people bailing out because the date doesn't work!!! So ill let u all tentatively choose a collective date or good dates, (start now!) and lets get the ball rolling. I myself can committ to bringing at least 25 to 30 bottles!! All I ask is that we get at least 25 to 30 people, we respect the space, clean up, and all split the small fee for party room rental, that's it! Get to it guys!

The end of days tasting was fantastic and i would love to participate in another. I have most weekends free other than Feb 16/17.
