I'm not sure if I've ever had this, but I certainly dig Barrel Aged IPA.

 

For those that don't know, this has been made a few times in the past as Hand Of Doom.

The Pope retired because of the release of this beer...this shit is deep yo.

 

They were listening to me...... I'm been blabbering about hand of doom on these backstage speculation threads for a while and I received. Is someone from Founders listening to me? Is this like that twilight zone episode where my thoughts and musing direct the world?

 

I couldn't be more in if I tried.

 

Perhaps this will help eliminate the hoard and cellar mentality we're all accustom to and share the wealth.

Sounds very solid, especially coming off my growler of Bourbon Huma last week.

 

Hopefully they're announcing the release of this beer to keep the mules away, and then instead they silently release CBS.

 

I very much enjoyed Hand of Doom when it was on tap 4 or so years ago. I like the label.

 

Available during the KBS release? Here's hoping. No sense driving 3 hrs each way just for a little KBS.

 

A little KBS? Sure they are limiting the bottle purchase to twelve, but feel free to drink 30 8 oz. pours on Saturday at the tap room, I don't think they'll have a limit there...Not that I plan on doing that or anything.

 

It says April release, and the KBS release is in March, so probably not.

 

Good thing I'm no detective.

Doom will be released in limited quantities across Founders’ distribution footprint beginning on Monday, April 22, and will be available at the brewery’s taproom through a ticketed release during the week of April 14. The brewery expects to release two more Backstage Series beers in 2013.
