Ok, question number 2 from me...

Looking at the menu, i am torn between :
16 hour smoked brisket: grilled broccolini, maple bbq, buttermilk and cheddar cornbread
    and
jerk chicken: wood grilled chicken, lime aioli, grilled pineapple, tomato, cilantro, swiss

    Which one should i get?

Had the smoked brisket last week and it was extremely tough and simply not good. Just my experience. Cornbread was delicious though.

Might have to go with the chicken, then. Hopefully it is actually spicy.

IMO you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. BUT my #1 pick would be...
porchetta: slow roasted pork belly, smoked sweet potato mash, bacon, creamed collard greens

I don't like collard greens but I literally licked my plate clean. The Porchetta is my favorite menu item.

I just wish i were closer to them. the ~40 minute drive make them a once in a while sort of visit.

First time I had their brisket it was on a Tuesday afternoon. It was very flavorful on the outside (they like cumin I think) but it was indeed dry and tough. The second time I went and had it, it was on a Friday during the dinner rush, and it was much more tender (and they gave me much larger strips). I'm not sure if this was just coincidence that I received better food when they are churning it out quicker, or if they just have better chefs/staff during the night time (they say they smoke it for 16 hours, so I don't think it should matter who's in the kitchen as long as the same person smokes it every time).

Either way, I had the brownie both times. Best item on the menu.

I've been there probably 50 times over the past 3 years and have never had to wait for more than 45 minutes, granted I've never gone with more than 4 people either. Sunday afternoon is a great time to go, usually no wait unless you have a large party.

Suspect in question. Do you have a positive ID on the dry pork?

10-4. Suspect positively ID'd and currently charged with 1 count of fraud for looking deceptively delicious.

No, they make you wait outside so their "kitchen isn't pounded", I even was there one time when they made us all sit in the rain.

I had the rain treatment as well. After 45 minutes we got in and we were part of 12 people in there.

I live in NL too and never complain about the drive to FFF. I personally feel fortunate to live this close to such a sought after brewery.
