Birthday beer

    So yesterday I turned the big 3-0. My wife suprises me with three four-packs of Old Rasputin (she said it's all the store had) and asks if she "did okay?" Hell yes!:slight_smile: And as much as I love the beers, I just cant stop visualizing her grabbing all the OR off the shelf and heading to checkout. Seriously, is there anything on earth sexier than some pretty young lady shopping for craft beer? Then I start picturing her buying the Ruination and Oaked Arrogant Bastard she got me for Christmas, and I start getting..... oh, nevermind!

    That's awesome dude!! I know where you're coming from; my wife picked me up a 4-pk of 1989 Thomas Hardy Ale for my Birthday. I have no idea where she got it.

    What's the verdict on that Thomas Hardy Ale, Papa? A place near me has a 4-pk of 1993 for $40/bottle. Unless someone tells me it comes with a guaranteed boner, I'm hesitant to give it a go...

    My girlfriend went to the BASC release @ Foothills because 'it was on her way home from her grandmas.' Showed up @ 9:30 and got the 4 bottle alotment:slight_smile:

    For the record, she loves beer too...so she's a keeper. Congrats OP!

    My Birthday today. Have to work late so no beer for a long while today. Will be hunting down some RR on tap Friday on my day off. Guess I will hit Monks first and go from there.

    My 50th birthday is coming on Saturday and I'm a little conflicted over what to drink between St. Bernardus, Sucaba, Hopslam and Westmalle. My Abrasive is not arriving until next week or I'd really be screwed up! I know I'll start with a Sucks after golf and then go from there.

    The anniversary of Black Butte Porter is same as my birthday, so this year the 24th birthday reserve was realased around my 24th Birthday.... I will make that a tradition. Very good beer too.

    My wife is the one who actually got me into beer. I used to only drink whiskey. For my b-day last year she got me a kegorator. One of the best presents she ever gave me...
