I know it came up not that long ago....... and by no means am I trying to bore anyone...But I really feel like SIERRA NEVADA has brought their "A" game to the table..... I have always felt they put out a great product, But with releases like ruthless rye, torpedo, bigfoot and now my latest find hoptimum, I feel more obligated to rate the brewery before the beer.... great job once again SN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hoptimum is on point this year. 100% improved over the last batch. Kudos to SN for putting such a good beer in 12oz. bottles at a decent price.

The 2012 Hoptimum is as good as anything I have had in that category. World class brew.

    Cheers....

I didn't try it last year when it was overpriced, overhyped and (apparently) underperforming. This year, it has been quite the tasty surprise! Well done SN.

Consistently among the top 3 US craft brewers (IMO) year after year.

Agree. And the summerfest season is as good as any pilsner out there IMO. Love their porter and stout as well. They just make great beers across the board no matter what the style it seems. Only negative comment you'll read is how pale ale, ruthless rye, torpedo, etc have similar hop profile but hey if it tastes good who cares.

I love all that I have tried from Sierra Nevada…if only Hoptimum was in Oklahoma you would see nightly pics of it from me!

I'll tell ya, it really hit me how much I like Hoptimum the other night. I spent an abnormal amount of time deciding between Hoptimum, Double Trouble and Hopslam. Of course I eventually had all 3, but you get the point...

I always like seeing a SN product on the menu if I'm out somewhere. I know I can at least get a decent beer even if the food and the rest of the beer list is crap.

One of my favorite breweries. Solid, reliable, consistent. Reasonably priced, too- that sure as hell is a nice bonus on top of the great beers.

ya know, its really too bad that I dont like Hoptimum. Im not a piney hop guy, and Hoptimum tasted like way too much pine.
