They are watching you from the shadows right now... waiting to take your abrasive.

I don't know what this means... if a pool was full of 2yr old Abrasive you'd do a cannonball into it?

In my lame attempt at humor I was referencing Caddyshack (see quote below)

Carl: I invented my own kind of grass, too. Did you know that? Look at this. This is registered: Carl Spackler's Bent.
Ty: I've felt grass like this before. I've played on this stuff.
Carl: This is a hybrid. This is a cross bluegrass, Kentucky bluegrass, featherbed bent, and northern California sinsemilla. The amazing stuff about this is that you can play 36 holes on it in the afternoon take it home and just get stoned to the bejeezus-belt at night on this stuff. I've got pounds of this stuff. [hands his joint] Here, take a puff on this big ole' Bob Marley joint.
Ty: Oh, I couldn't possibly, well maybe one.
    [Starts coughing uncontrollably]
Carl: It's a little harsh...Here. [hands him bottle of wine] Cannonball it, Cannonball! Cannonball comin' through, Cannonball!

But if you have a pool filled with Abrasive, I'll do a cannonball into it. Challenge Accepted!

How long does the Abrasive season last? A month or two? Thinking of sneaking over the border to La Crescent at some time in the next month or so...

Last year it was released in November and the last canning date was in Feburary. It lingered around for a while after the last batch.

That begs a revision of an old joke:
A police officer pays a visit to your girlfriend/wife/mom.
"We're very sorry to inform you - but Hopsiam fell into a pool of Abrasive and drowned"
"Oh, no. Well, did he at least die quickly?"
"Not exactly... he got out three times to pee."

I thought I heard Abrasive was going to be around for 6 months now. Or maybe that was Indeed's Let it Ride. Either way.

For sure Indeed's Let it Ride. Let it Roll, same base beer, different hops, is supposed to be the other 6.

It could be true for Abrasive, but I have not heard that.

Abrasive won't be brewed for 6 months. It'll be a normal run like last year, just a bit later this time. Blakkr will replace it in the line up again this Spring.

Still no hints as to when it'll hit coolers?

First canning last year was mid November and last was early Feb (semi weekly for 3 months).

At $17.99-18.99 a four pack Blakkr has stayed around. You saw some old beer.

I am looking forward to some Blakkr, probably will only get a pack though and at that send 1 or 2 off. Enjoyed it, but went overboard last year. It is about a pack and done for me.

Yeah that was my point. I thought Blakkr was fine, but I'd rather pay less for Abrasive which I love.
