Yea I was pleasantly surprised. Not enough talk about that beer yet.

Finback is solid. I'll put them a bit ahead of Singlecut, but still fairly well behind Other Half and Barrier (as NYC breweries of comparable size/styles). Outside of BA BQE I've yet to be truly wowed as those other two have consistently done.

    Natas....very tasty.

The nose is awesome...chocolate and dark fruits...taste isn't too far off. The spicy factor is there (very subdued), hence the Belgian descriptor I guess, but I do get more stout than anything else. Have to agree with the sentiment, awesome beer.

I probably should have added, lol, I got it at Superstar Beer City (North Babylon) if anyone wants it. $8 for a 32oz pour, not bad.

I've been meaning to head out to the brewery - not too far from me.
I always enjoy their beers when I run across them on tap around town, would like to see them more often.
I absolutely hate almost all pumpkin beers but their pumpkin IPA this past fall was actually really good - so I was impressed.

Anybody planning on going to the first bottle share at Finback today (first Thursday of the month)? Starts at 7pm.

More than time and place? It's today, April 2nd, and the first of monthly bottle shares.

Is there any subway even remotely close? Would like to head over but looking on google maps just seems very hard to get there...

I had the Buddy System DIPA this past Saturday. It was nothing mindblowing but it was pretty tasty. I wouldn't go nuts looking for it, but if you get a chance to try it, you should.
