Marshmallow - dark roast coffee and chocolate - straight desert in a can.

 

Love that glass.

 

Verboten brewing, not a speck of light, bourbon barrel aged mocha stout. Aged on Ghana cocoa husks, tahitian vanilla, and cold pressed coffee from nine doors. The Cinnamon and vanilla one was good. A light drink at %13.5 abv I. A 16 oz can.

 

Deschutes Black Butte 34 - pretty good but a little sweet for my preference

 

Black Butte annual porter has adjuncts now? Oh, the humanity!

 

So Happens It’s Tuesday by The Bruery is a 15.3% bourbon barrel aged stout. Thanks to @Resistance88 for this delicious beer. Cheers!

 

Out of the two Speedway variants I’ve had, I prefer this over the coconut/coffee. Big hot chocolate notes, fudge brownie, and bitter coffee with a vanilla finish. Overall, Excellent.

 

Is this new? If it is, I'm on the radar for it. We're getting the Speedway variants her in SEVA.

 

Its not new but the Speedway series has only made it to Michigan in the last 2 years ago, and we don’t get all variants. I happened to notice this about 2 months ago and finally picked it up. Cheers.

Embers Society Vanilla Rye by Incendiary Brewing

Aged 15 months in a Sazarac Rye barrel then conditioned on Madagascar, Indonesian and Cooks Island vanilla beans.

Having this one super fresh as it was just released on 7/30. The barrel is the clear hero here. The rye stands out in the best way. Layers of dark chocolate and vanilla. The sweetness is in check, and it's nowhere near pastry. Complex and balanced. Long finish and has a medium to thick body with a smooth mouthfeel. Just a really enjoyable beer from start to finish.
