I didn't see anything posted, thought some of you might be interested. On-line sign up May 29th at 5 pm, $200 gets you 9 bottles total of 7 different beers plus a glass. Some of these sound awesome, but this is too much of a commitment for me.

At $22 a bottle, it better be good.

Some of these beers sound absolutely amazing. I do think its a little pricey but being a local brewery finally doing some barrel stuff as well as a membership I hope it takes off & does well! Spring house has been and continues to be one of my favorite breweries & they're local how much better does it get!!! I'm definitely interested.

I'm in. They do unique stuff and $200 is pretty average in terms of memberships for societies.

Their ratings on BA look pretty average.

IMO: Not worth it for an average brewery. Barrel aging doesn't always guarantee good beers without expertise in this type of brewing. May be good but they don't have very highly rated beers.

those of you who are specifically calling out "low ratings" on BA, have you actually HAD the beers?

The only thing I hope is that they don't make Trustee's pick up bottles every single month...but that seems like what the case is.

Yeah I was hoping it could be like pick up one time or two times maybe but who knows?

I'd even take once per quarter, as I could schedule business trips and get out there to pick them up myself. But once per month is crazy.

I will be joining this (assuming I can get in) - those beers sound pretty damn good. Considering I really enjoy all the base beers, why not!

"Brettomyces". Never trust a brewery that misspells brettanomyces.

These Beer Clubs and Reserve Societies are "Gruesome"!!! Club membership fees, options to purchase, Trustees, forfeiture dates, additional bottle guarantees, etc...... This is still beer we are talking about, right????? Breweries that do this are taking advantage of their most loyal customers IMO by trying to make them feel like they are part of something special.
Just make good beer and sell it to your customers. It shouldn't be that difficult.
