Great, if you do not have any crazy expectations. Easy to drink, perfect for continuous drinking during hot summer days at the garden.

Bought at a Supermarket in Olomouc (Moravia, Czech Republic). Half liter bottle poured into a mug.
-Pours a small foam head. Bright translucid yellow bien color.
-Herbal Pilsener smell.
-Bitter taste. Pretty normal Pilsener taste.
-Not a lot carbonation. Doesn't leave lasting feels.

Rather normal Pilsener. Bad for the leve of the country.

Pours a typical clear, golden color, topped with relatively small white head.
The malty and grainy aroma dominates the nose, although not too strong.
It starts sweet, followed by a relatively balanced, slightly grainy, body with lots of carbonation. The finish is nicely bittery to give you that fresh feeling.
Easily drinkable and very nice.

Poured from a 500ml bottle into my Duvel tulip. Brought back from Prague by my girlfriend last month, best buy date of 26.02.11. Guessing this one is not actually retired.

a - Pours a very clear golden color with one inch of white head and light carbonation evident. Looks like a pretty good pilsener.

s - Smells of pale malts, wheat, and grain.

t - Tastes of wheat, grain, and bready malts.

m - Light body and low to moderate carbonation. A nice crisp body.

d - A decent pilsner but nothing really stood out about it to me. At 4.2% ABV, it's very light and easy to drink, but not sure I'd want to. Wouldn't seek out again.

Pale gold topped by white foam that showed no lacing during it's short life. DMS and sulfury hops gave it an unpleasant cooked corn character in the aroma. Balanced towards a thin sweetness with mild hop bitterness. Light body. A pretty standard example of what's wrong with a lot of continental lagers. It certainly doesn't have the life that a good Czech pilsner should have, even though it was recently brought across the pond. Thanks biegaman!

Purchased in Prague. Serving: 500ml bottle.
Pours crystal clear yellow body, very weak retention, very average appearence. Unappealing aroma, nill hops but plenty of macro smell (corn starchy character) Body stays pretty unoffensive, low carbonation and little texture - but drinkability is more than reasonable. A passive amount of malt in the flavour. Overall quality seems comprimised. I could get through this one fine, but it is far from the better Czech pilsners and would not be close to my first choice.

Picked this up in Karlovy Vary, in western Czech Republic. Standard brown half liter bottle with an elongated neck and a white, blue, gold and red label featuring a seal containing a night, a griffin and a big sword. All the words are in Czech, but I gather the ingredients conform to the purity law. Best before 12/4/04, I opened it on 8/2/04.

Poured a clear standard gold. My hard pour generated three fingers of head with a bit of contour but no retention - I could see the foam level drop. No lace. Sweet raspberry and flowery hop share the nose. The mouth is well carbonated and medium bodied. A nice smooth malt opening yields to a very light hoppy bite, but the malt returns in the aftertaste. A simple beer, but pleasant enough to drink on a warm and muggy Moscow evening.
