Tasted by a half-pint at the Devonshire Cat, Sheffield. Sparkler-poured. The pumpclip bears subtitiles below the beer's name, saying "Schnee Weiss Bier", so I presume this beer was meant to ape a German Weizen?
A: coming in a pale-yellow-ish, murky straw colour; creamy white head on top of low carbonation. Temp. is pretty low, almost chilled - intentionally so?
S: quite floral and sweet lemony in terms of hoppiness; a swirl brings out a touch of lager-ish sourness, plus lightly grainy malts, melted sugar, and citrus zestiness.
T: gosh... a washing-up-liquid like lemony flavour (? not that I've tasted it!!) and gum-like fruitiness prevails from the beginning, then (thank god...) taken over by a mildly spicy, almost ginger-ish, touch, peachy fruits and banana-esters... Quite dry in the finish with a zesty-bitter palate, rather chewy for a weizen-pretender.
M&D: refreshing and light for a 5%abv. wheat-ish ale, while the texture is pleasantly clean overall. If this was meant to be a British wheat-bitter, this is fine; but, if it was to pretend to be a German Weizen (I can't be blamed for presuming so, as implied by the subtitles on the pump clip), then this is a failure.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
