Exterminator is a dopplebock? That's what I assumed from the name (bar tender could not confirm that though), but when I drank it, I thought it was a spot on belgian double. Dark colored but you could see through it. Slightly phenolic aromas mixed in with dark grainy aromas and fruity alcohol. Alcohol dominated the flavor and gave it a farmhouse type feel, fruity ester flavors and slightly tart on the finish. Just a hint of earthy hops help round out the flavor profile. Damn, this would get 4+ for a belgian double, but not so good for a german dopplebock - maybe it was passed its prime.
