On tap at Brewer's Alley in Frederick, MD.
This one pours a somewhat dark brown, with a small head, and no lacing.
Smells really mild, not much here- a bit of chocolate, maybe a little bit of Jack Daniels. Not exactly salivating at the thought of this one.
The taste follows suit. This has to be one of the blandest BA stouts I've ever had, it's so disappointing. It just feels like dark water with a splash of Jack Daniels. Barely anything to it, it's so weird.
This is super thin and light bodied, with a lower level of carbonation.
Mehhhhhhhhh. Not really good at all.

Purchased this from Brewer's Alley in growler. Pours a fantastic head, great chocolaty smell. Taste and drinkability are both spectacular. At 6.7% ABV its one of the more sessionable/less sippy BA stouts out there and seems to fill a void dominated by only really high ABV BA stouts. Highly recommend to anyone that can get this one. Not sold in bottles.

Glass: Standard 12oz snifter
Type: Cask
Drank on cask at Brewer's Alley in Frederick, MD. Aged in Maker's Mark barrel. Taken from notes:
Appearance: Color is black, deep beige 1-finger head with sticky lacing, served at 55ºF.
Smell: The aroma of Maker's Mark is subtle and delightful. Other aroma of sweet milk chocolate, and unsweetened cocoa. Malts are not super-present, as they are overshadowed by the chocolate flavors.
Taste: Very smooth and light cocoa flavor, slightly hot Maker's mark, and a touch of roasted dark malts -- more present in taste than in aroma.
Mouthfeel: Leaves slight heat of bourbon and bitter chocolate on the palate. At 6.2% ABV, I'm impressed with the amount of flavor balance at this temperature, as I usually would prefer the temp to be a little bit lower.
Drinkability: This certainly drinks like an oatmeal stout. It's smooth like a Guinness, but not as watery. I love the hint of bourbon on this version!
