Sigmund, you seem to get everywhere, including several beers just before me. And knowing your homeland quite well I cannot imagine what this costs over at the Vinmonopolet!

L- Very dark amber, clear with a 2Cm just off-white head. ps. holds up ok, good for 8.5%.
S- Prominent estery Belgian yeast notes, spicy with Pear-drops.
T- Woah - this is a fine thing. Spicy, deep some balancing hops and a somewhat rich aspect (suggestion: take care to start off with some good chill on it). Nothing to offend here. ps That said as it warms a touch I am getting a sugary note develop in the richness.
F- Hefty, nicely done, good CO2 in the mouth and that's despite it's CO2-retardent ABV%.
O- I wish I'd have started this with a harder chill on it , but I can't hold my minor oversight against it. Very pleasant, worth seeking out if down in the Rhone-Alpes district.

750 ml bottle, crown-capped with swingtop for re-sealing. From Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.3%. Deep golden colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of spices including cloves, Belgian ale yeast and malts. Refreshing flavour for its strength, not too sweet but still some notes of white kandij sugar, moderately spicy with hints of cloves and vanilla, some fruitiness (yellow fruits), decent hops in the finish. Very harmonious and enjoyable.
