L - Very hazy yellow with a thin head which doesn't stay for long

S - Herbal notes

T - Unique taste. It has its own character. Herbal, citric, peppery. A bit tart with a barnyard-like taste. Grain. A bit woody

F - Desaltering mouthfeel with fine bubbles, quite dry

O - A unique beer. Really old style. Very balanced with a nice hop presence and good grain notes. We could consider it a farmhouse ale more than a belgian pale ale

Lasting silky head with glittering little bubbles who get bigger and dissimilar as time passes. The body is of a pale orange color, looking slightly watery, but very active. Waiting a bit longer, the bubbles of the head get smaller and form a nice creamy collar. The smell is fresh, sweetly malty and grainy. Some straw, with light hints of citrus.
The taste is a bit more citric, with a more pronounced lemon character. Roundly and subtly malty, the taste gets nicely biscuity. Slightly grassy, reminding me somehow of a barn in a pleasing way. The finish is getting a bit thicker, with a hoppiness that evokes yellow flowers that I can’t name in English. Maybe also some peppery notes, with hidden hints of cinnamon and liquorice, leaving a spicy yet round aftertaste. The mouthfeel is great, yeasty and very slightly floury. A very light note of sour cream maybe. Soft, but firm and round. Cotton in the mouth. Nice. This beers seems to have as many aspects as sips of it that you drink; now it gives me a wooden impression, close to a carbonnade flamande, a dish of beef marinated in beer. Intriguing.
