A: A brighter amber in color.
S: Witbier like, and sweet.

Thick lasting head. Some big bubbles on the side, but overall quite fine and smooth. The body is very active and of a copper color. The smell is very smooth too, if it can be. Sweet and silky, with the juicy fruitiness of a ripe peach and of a few strawberries. Almost lightly floury, it shows some notes of chocolate reminding me of the Rogue American Amber. Less pronounced though. The taste shows a round fruitiness that it quite enjoyable, and in the same line as the smell, with more notes of citrus maybe. Also, an unexpected graininess appears. Not just roundly malty, but a bit annoyingly grainy, maybe dry. Alcohol gets a bit noticeable, maybe. Citrus gets lightly tart in the end. I feel like I prefer the first half of each sip: a great and smooth fruitiness, reminiscent of some great marzens, backed by nice notes of yeast; I get disappointed with the other half, that reveals a graininess that doesnt really fit my taste. The first half of each sip is probably worth getting this beer again.
