Pours very pale into a clear plastic cup. I can't help feel this is an appropriate serving vessel for the beer. Head is decently foamy with quite tight and fine bubbling. Some lacing, lots of carbonation. It's actually not a bad looking lager.
Bit of banana on the nose, with a slight crispness, but it's very, very bland. I guess, if you were generous, you'd say clean -- it's inoffensive, but it's also very unappealing.
Taste is also very bland, those slight banana phenols come through a little. It has a slight crispness to it, with a finish that gives a sharp whack of chemical bitterness, slighly tart; it just whacks the rest of the unpleasantness to the front of your notice. Mouthfeel is clean.
Drinkable enough in a bland, unpleasant and uninspiring way. Not something I'd choose to drink. I'm glad this one was free.
