Sampled at the brewpub in Oberursel, Germany.
This pils poured a slightly hazy, golden color with white, sudsy foam that settled quickly, though it clung to the glass a little bit. The smell was mildly bready malty with a touch of floral hops. The taste was spritzy and malty with a faint sweetness. Floral and bitter hops came through (noble hops), and the finish was bready. The mouthfeel had strong carbonation and medium body. It was smooth and the bready malt and noble hops lingered pleasingly on the tongue. This was a very enjoyable pils.
