Sampled on-tap at the brewpub. It was listed as "Dunkles Hefeweizen", but looked and tasted more like a typical Hefeweizen than a Dunkel Weizen.

This beer poured a cloudy, golden brown color with tan, creamy foam that settled slowly and clung to the glass in places. The smell was wheat malt with a touch of citrus and faint banana fruitiness; rather mild aroma. The taste was wheat malt and yeast with a light citrus tartness and some banana flavor. There was a slight tanginess, but it was light on the phenolics (cloves). Overall a rather mild flavored hefeweizen. The mouthfeel was smooth with medium body and moderate carbonation. The flavors felt a bit thin. This was an ok hefeweizen, refreshing on a warm afternoon.
