Del Mar St. is in the style of a Dortmunder Export Lager. Pale gold in color with a medium white head and great lacing. Flavor is malt dominant with moderate bitterness from noble hops. A Clean rounded lager character and, a well attenuated body makes for a good session beer.

Appearance: Pours a clear goldenstraw color with a modest head that fades rather quickly; a few shards of lacing hand around
Smell: Lemon pound cake, with undertones of caramel and apple
Taste: Pound cake with hints of lemon and apple forward and a touch of caramel building underneath; some grassy bitterness, through the middle, but the overall impression is somewhat sweet
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: An easy drinker with a beguiling sweetness; I feel like it should be more balanced but I still enjoyed it

A: Light grains, low hop aroma with a slightly sweet finish.
A: Light golden color and totally clear. Light amount of head that quickly dissipated to a thin film.
T: Light grain and hops are intertwined with a slightly sweet finish.
M: Light bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: Generally a solid flavor with malts and hops pretty even with a slightly sweet finish. The beer is pretty crisp and refreshing. However, the aroma is a bit light, the beer lacked a persistent white head and the body was a bit thin.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours fairly crystal clear bright golden yellow color with a small dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of bready malt and earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of bready malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast ester notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and lightly creamy/bready/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 5%. Overall this is a very nice Dortmunder lager style. All around good robustness and balance of bready malt and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and clean to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours a half finger of head on a clear golden body.
The aroma is a nice grain and biscuit smell.
The taste has a solid bitterness throughout, a little metallic but true to style.
The texture is crisp and fizzy.
Nice.
