S - poured in a signature glass from the bar tap at Earl's in Vancouver, BC
A - Dark cola color in the glass, with a small, quickly diminishing, off white head.
S - Dominant burnt grains and... Lemon? Notes of orange; citrusy.
T - Moderate citrus flavor and lightly bitter, with a short finish. A very simple pint; it left me wanting more
O - Very smooth beer and enjoyed every drop.

The Albino Rhino Signature Lager was on tap at Earl's Restaurant in Calgary. I believe this beer is brewed especially for this chain. The Rhino ale was amber in color and offered a thin white head. There was not much smell, a little malt, which lent me to believe this was a Eastern US type Pale ale. The taste was a simple smooth beer...nothing to fancy. Had some grain and malt flavors that were balanced well. The mouthfeel was very smooth and drinkable...so no complaints here.

Contract brewed for the Earls Restaurant group.
This beer appears a medium golden amber hue, much like that of the Honey Lager, with one finger of creamy off-white head, which leaves a spattering of spotty lace around the glass as it drops away. It smells of pale, biscuity malt, and grassy, weedy hops. The taste is bready biscuit malt, and more floral, earthy hop bitterness. The carbonation is moderate, kind of zippy, the body medium weight, and adequately smooth. It finishes off-dry, with a sweet bready nature.
Not a bad pint, easy enough to drink, the various grain essences and hoppiness pushing the pale ale boundary. Good enough for another.
