Bloody long walk and you have to pass 'The Bay Horse' a lovelly Bateman's pub to get here!
My shoal and I visited this run down, throwback of a brewpub, during the Hull (CAMRA) Beer Fest. We were made most welcome and after a pint or two of the house beers and a chat with the barman and barlady, we were asked if we would like a look at the brewing equipment by the barman, who just happened to be the brewer too.
He opened a door opposite the bar and we stepped into the brew room, just enough room for the five of us. It is the smallest brewplant I have ever seen, even smaller than the 'Spinning Dog' in Hereford.
The food is plastic 'Ping cuisine' or rolls, but this isn't about meals, this is a brewpub with a constant quality of fone beers.
