Made with hibiscus flowers. Best by Feb 2010 printed on back label.
Vigorous pour produces a tiny head of bleached white soapy bubbles, fizzes out in about ten seconds. Fairly clear red to light brown liquid.
Smells sweet with a bit of a sour touch, like you would expect from an unhopped wheat beer. Hint of woodsiness.
Upfront the taste is very syrupy sweet. Later you get hibiscus tea, unmistakable. I'd guess that they didn't use hops. The herbal tea flavor is pleasant, not overpowering. Finishes fairly dry.
The mouthfeel is a bit watery. Seems undercarbonated. Other than that it is easy drinking.
