Pleasantly surprised. Paid only €3,75 in small wine store in 19 Arrondissement. Smell is mostly coffee. Taste is a bit more complex. Nice lacing and retention.

12oz bottle obtained as extra from Videofrog. Thanks man!
Served in Founder's stout pint glass
Appearance pitch black with chocolate lacing. No light getting through this baby. Limited head.
Smell is a deep chocolate aroma, with some coffee.
Taste is chocolate, bitter with coffee aftertaste that lingers quite nicely.
Mouthfeel is medium body with a fair amount of carbonation. Acidity on the tongue. I like it.
Overall, I wouldn't mind having this again. Probably nothing I will get a chance to try again, but sure glad I did.

Beer bottle (33 cl.), purchased from Bières & Chopes, and tasted in 2011.
Appearance : ebony color, with tan foamy head.
Smell : roasted coffee & chocolate aromas.
Taste and mouthfeel : hoppy with roasted bitterness and licorice notes.
Drinkability : a good beer in the style Imperial Stout.
