Poured from 33cl bottle into goblet. Marked consume by Dec 09 on label.

Dark brown opaque liquid, one finger tan head recedes slowly and leaves great lacing.

Strongly spiced aroma - coriander, black tea, maybe allspice. Woodsiness, or earthyness as well. Rich and deep, very inviting.

Upfront the malt taste is strong; caramel, brown sugar, whole wheat bread. In the finish you get the spices, though subdued. Hints of orange zest, coriander, maybe some pie spices. There is a very light bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium, a little lighter in body and alcohol than you might expect from other breweries' Christmas offerings.

Very drinkable. The flavors are balanced and intriguing and bring you back for more.
