This beer was called "Cucamonga Peak Pale Ale" on the beer menu and was listed as 5.6% ABV.
Consumed at the brewery August 30th, 2011.
Beer is a clear medium golden color and is topped off with the house signature crown of sticky, fine white bubbles.
Aroma is sweet: caramel/crystal malt and a touch of pepper.
Sweeter than expected husky malt flavor mingles with a very light citric and juicy fruitiness. Surprisingly low bitterness. There's something off late in the taste - wet socks and celery. The socks might be due to Simcoe hops, but I suspect there was something not quite 100% right with this batch. Still, if you sell it to the public, you take your lumps, right?
Unremarkable mouthfeel.
I would never drink this again.

Pint at Omaha Jack's two days ago, had this after their IPA and it did not hold up very well against it, my girlfriend ended up finishing the last half of this glass
A-Light yellowish orange with not much of a head, it was about 1/2 inch, white, and soapy, did not last long, minimal retention, no lacing
S-Hops, mostly pine and lemon, some bready malt, hay, other light citrus aromas, light caramel, barley, and strong yeast
T-Started off with a little hops, some dry biscuit and slightly sweet malt in the middle, a little lemon zest and dryness in the finish, wish I could say something else was happening in this one but I would be lying, taste did not change much at all while it warmed
M-Dry and slightly bitter mouthfeel, also sweet at times, thin to medium body, heavy carbonation, taste went away fast
D-Could drink a few pints of this but taste does not change and would get tiresome, low ABV and light on the stomach though, smooth for a pale ale
The smell was initially hoppier than the IPA so it seemed promising but I should not have let that fool me, not much going on here as it is a one dimensional brew, would not drink again, cannot really recommend this one

Served in a conical pint glass, was a very hazy/cloudy yellowish orange, almost with the same appearance as their hefe. The head was a little bit of soap sudsy residue floating top. The smell was pretty good, strong pine notes which accounted for most of the flavor too although the combination of the bitterness and the pine seemed a little too one dimensional and just not very interesting.
