Consumed at the brewery on August 30, 2011.
Typical brewpub American pale wheat ale: crystal clear light golden color with a fine head of tiny white bubbles that provide nice sheeting throughout.
Light husky sweet aroma.
Mild wheat flavor. That's really it; I didn't get any other flavor from this beer at all: no bitterness, sweetness, grain bill notes, hops... nothing but wheat. And not even the tangy, fun Bavarian kind!
Low carbonation leads to no mouthfeel to speak of other than wet and slightly thicker than water.
Dull as dirt, but at least they have this when someone comes in and orders a "heffenwizen", I guess.
